Principle
By flowing electrolyte between a work (anode) and a tool (cathode), the work is eluted through electrolysis.
Feature
Electrochemical machining is suitable for burrs remaining on a deep or narrow recess or a part having a complicated-shape, where burrs are difficult to remove mechanically, and it offers a reliable method to remove burrs without a risk of producing secondary burrs. |
